Humly is recruiting a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a part-time role starting 06/05/2026 and continuing until 17/07/2026. The position would suit a supportive and patient individual with experience in SEN, who is confident working with small groups and helping pupils remain engaged and settled in the classroom.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting a small group of pupils within a Year 1 classroom
  • Encouraging engagement and positive participation in learning activities
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support emotional and academic development
  • Assisting the class teacher with tailored interventions and classroom support
  • Promoting a calm and structured learning environment
