Humly is recruiting a SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school on a long-term basis. This is a part-time role starting 13th April 2026 and continuing until 17th July 2026. This role would suit a compassionate and patient individual with experience supporting pupils with additional needs, particularly within Key Stage 1. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a pupil, providing consistent and tailored support to aid their communication and learning development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with communication and learning difficulties
- Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs
- Support the development of communication and social skills
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
