Humly is recruiting a Mixed Year 4/5 Primary Teacher to join a primary school on a long-term temporary basis. This is a full-time role starting after February half-term and continuing for two terms until the end of the summer term. The role would suit a committed and resilient teacher who enjoys mixed-age teaching, thrives in a small-school environment, and is looking for a placement they can fully commit to long term.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a mixed Year 4/5 class
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and learning expectations
- Assessing progress and adapting teaching to support pupil outcomes
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school priorities
- Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in mixed-age classes
- Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

Pay
Non-AWR: £120+ per day AWR (from week 13): £168.80 – £232.57 per day (M1 – M6)
