Overview

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Ashington on a full-time basis. This role is to start as soon as possible and will run through to the end of the summer term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Ensure students remain on task and engaged with the work set
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

Requirements

  • A degree (essential)
  • Strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour effectively
