Overview: We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Ashington on a full-time basis. This role is to start as soon as possible and will run through to the end of the summer term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
- Ensure students remain on task and engaged with the work set
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Requirements:
- A degree (essential)
- Strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour effectively
- Confidence delivering lessons across a variety of subjects and age groups
