Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and qualified Business Studies Teacher looking for a supportive and vibrant new environment? We are seeking dedicated educators to inspire our pupils across various key stages.
Role
- Teaching BTEC and GCSE Business Studies with some Travel and Tourism included. This is full time until the Summer term.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
- Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils.
- Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A relevant teaching degree or PGCE.
- Proven experience of teaching within a UK Secondary school setting is highly desirable, but applications from strong ECTs are welcome.
- A strong understanding of the Business Studies Curriculum and effective teaching pedagogies.
- Excellent behaviour management skills and a creative approach to teaching.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to school life.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
