Contract and Hours: Long‑term contract – Monday to Thursday, 8:45 am to 12:30 pm (half‑day mornings only).

Salary: £37,870 – £56,154 per annum (pro‑rata).

About the Opportunity: We are working in partnership with a specialist SEN College to support Post‑16 learners with Autism and complex needs. This long‑term role is ideal for a tutor who is passionate about inclusive education and confident delivering Functional Skills Maths, incorporating Sports Science into a creative, engaging curriculum.

The Role:

  • Deliver Functional Skills Maths and Sports Science to Post‑16 students.
  • Support learners with Autism and complex needs, adapting teaching approaches to individual learning styles.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and life skills through both academic and practical learning.
  • Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and college leadership.
