Humly is looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager to join a welcoming early years setting in Lewisham, on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend. The setting provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, explore their surroundings and develop confidence and independence. With a strong focus on children's individual needs, the nursery offers a varied programme of engaging activities designed to support learning and development.

About the Setting

Children benefit from a range of creative, sensory and imaginative activities, alongside opportunities for outdoor play, physical development and exploration. The setting places a strong emphasis on creating positive relationships and providing children with enjoyable, enriching experiences each day.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you'll take a lead role in the day-to-day management of the setting, supporting and developing the team while ensuring consistently high standards of care, education and safeguarding.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • An experienced Nursery Manager or confident Deputy Manager ready to step up
  • Passionate about early years education and children's development
  • Confident leading, supporting and motivating a team
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS and safeguarding
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy nursery environment
  • A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
