Humly is looking for a passionate and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join a welcoming Pre-Prep setting in central Royal Tunbridge Wells on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend.

Set within a beautiful Edwardian house, just a short walk from the centre of Tunbridge Wells, the setting provides a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2–5 years. The Pre-Prep focuses on learning through play, children's development and preparing children for school.

About the Setting

Children enjoy a wide range of activities including creative and messy play, sensory experiences, imaginative play, educational games, Montessori-inspired activities and outdoor learning. The setting also offers dance and movement sessions, trips into town, seasonal celebrations and school-readiness activities.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the setting, lead and support the team, and help ensure consistently high standards of care, education and safeguarding.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced within a nursery leadership or senior role
  • Passionate about early years education and children's development
  • Confident supporting and motivating a team
