We are working in partnership with a specialist SEN College in Sutton to recruit an experienced and dedicated SEN Tutor to support Post-16 learners with Autism and complex needs. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a tutor who is passionate about inclusive education and confident delivering Functional Skills Maths, with the ability to incorporate Sports Science into a creative and engaging curriculum.
The Role
- Deliver Functional Skills Maths and Sports Science to Post-16 students
- Support learners with Autism and complex needs, adapting teaching approaches to individual learning styles
- Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons aligned with EHCP outcomes
- Promote independence, confidence, and life skills through both academic and practical learning
- Work collaboratively with SEN support staff, therapists, and college leadership
