A reputable College Provision in the London Borough of Greenwich is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a full-time role supporting learners at Key Stage 5, running until July 2026. As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with post-16 learners across a range of courses including BTEC, T Levels, GCSEs and/or A Levels. You will provide tailored, individualised support to help students access the curriculum, develop independence, and achieve their academic potential. Support will be delivered both 1:1 and in small group settings, within a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-class support to KS5 learners across a variety of subjects
- Offer targeted 1:1 and small group support
- Encourage engagement, independence, and positive learning behaviours
- Build strong, trusting relationships with learners
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider support teams
- Promote inclusion and support students with a range of additional learning needs
