For more than 30 years, Hawk-Woods has designed and manufactured batteries, chargers, adaptors, power supplies and accessories used by camera, sound and lighting professionals worldwide.
The company operates in a fast-moving market where new cameras and professional equipment constantly create new requirements in terms of power, connectivity, attachment systems, ergonomics and usability. 🛠️ The Role --- Reporting to the CTO, you will manage a team of four engineers and technicians while remaining directly involved in product design.
This is primarily a product design and industrialisation role , close to an R Solidworks would be ideal.
A good understanding of electronics and electronic product architecture.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture.
Experience managing technical projects and ideally engineers or technicians.
A practical and product-focused mindset.
Experience with batteries, chargers or portable power products would be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
You do not need to be a battery chemistry specialist.
An interest in the Broadcast and Cine market is important, as you will need to understand how professionals use Hawk-Woods products and how new equipment creates new product opportunities. 📄 Contract
