R&D Technical Manager to lead its Research & Development department.
Context
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will manage a team of four engineers and technicians responsible for developing the company's next generation of products.

The Role
As R&D Technical Manager, your mission will be to drive the development of innovative electronic products while ensuring technical excellence, project delivery and team performance.
- Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary R&D team of four engineers and technicians.
- Define and coordinate the R&D roadmap in collaboration with the CTO.
- Drive the complete product development lifecycle from concept through validation and industrialisation.
- Contribute directly to electronic design and technical problem-solving when required.
- Oversee mechanical enclosure development – casing - in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure products meet performance, quality, manufacturing and cost objectives.
- Coordinate prototype development, testing and validation activities.
- Support continuous improvement of R&D processes and engineering methodologies.
- Work closely with production, purchasing and quality teams to ensure smooth product introduction.
- Foster an innovative, collaborative and enthusiastic engineering culture.
- Candidate Profile
Education
- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Technical Skills
- Strong background in electronic design and development.
- Good understanding of mechanical design, particularly product housing and enclosures – casing.
- Proven experience managing Research & Development projects.
- Previous experience leading and developing engineering teams.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical involvement.
