Hume Doors & Timber (QLD) Pty Ltd, a 100% Australian owned company, is Australia's leading door manufacturer and timber wholesaler, marketing its products to the hardware, timber and building industries throughout Australia and overseas. We are seeking a qualified Wood Machinist to work at our Kingston factory. This is a full‑time position, working Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be expected to complete the following duties:

  • Operate a variety of wood processing machinery (moulders and double‑end tenoners).
  • Prepare and machine timber components to correct dimensions.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience on four‑head and six‑head moulders.
  • Current trade certificate with a trade relating to this industry (desirable).
  • Strong focus on WH&S.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
