We are looking for a highly organised Technical Administrator to support the day-to-day coordination of key quality and compliance activities across the Humdinger Heckington nut snacking factory. This role plays a vital part in ensuring KPI tracking and trending is maintained, while supporting administrative processes including internal and external audits, document control, pest control and customer complaints. You’ll be responsible for keeping systems accurate, up to date and audit-ready, while providing essential support across a range of technical and operational activities.

Pay range: £25,000 - £26,500
Breaks: 30 minutes

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update sampling & swabbing schedules (micro, environmental, allergen, hand and water), ensuring all records are accurately logged, results are tracked, and follow-up actions are completed.
- Coordinate traceability exercises and mock recalls, collating data and communicating outcomes to relevant teams.
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring equipment is in date and arranging servicing, replacements or loan equipment where required.
- Support internal audits by scheduling quality management system audits, carrying out audits, issuing documentation, recording non-conformances, and monitoring completion of corrective actions.
- Prepare quality documentation such as CoCs/CoAs and support administrative aspects of finished product release.
- Maintain pest control records, arrange site visits, and track completion of actions raised.
- Update and maintain quality management system documentation, weekly/monthly KPI reports, and site records, ensuring all documents are current and correctly distributed.
- Support customer complaint and incident processes by gathering traceability data, assisting with investigations, and preparing reports for review.
- Raise and approve purchase orders.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Experience within an administrative role in a fast moving consumer goods/manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and report writing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage across all levels.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety and health & safety requirements.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
Desirable:
- Trained to Food Hygiene Level 2.
- HACCP level 3 minimum.
