Location: Humdinger, Heckington, NG34 9JH
Position type: Full‑time, permanent
Hours: 36 per week
Shift Pattern: 3 on, 4 off covering Monday‑Saturday (Monday‑Wednesday or Thursday‑Saturday) 12‑hour shifts, 1800 – 0600
Pay range: £16.14 per hour
Breaks: 3 x 20 minutes paid
Closing date: Friday 8 May 2026
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Assist in the safe, efficient and accurate running of the factory machine such as industrial roasting/frying machines.
- Complete process control checks on machinery.
- Complete various paperwork accurately and neatly.
- Report breakdowns, working with the Engineering team.
- Liaise with the quality teams and supervisors regarding any anomalies found whilst operating equipment.
- Ensure the safety, legality and good standards of the production facility.
- Role involves manual handling and lifting of ingredients up to 25kg.
- Have an understanding of food safety – prior training such as Food Safety Level 2 is beneficial, and additional training will be provided by Humdinger.
- Have machinery experience and mechanical knowledge.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have experience within a factory environment such as Production Operative, Line Leader, Machine Operative, General Operative, Machine Minder or Line Technician.
Entitlement to 20 days of annual leave (pro rata due to 12 hour shifts).
