Do you enjoy solving problems, improving standards and ensuring food manufacturing operations remain fully compliant? We're looking for a Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving compliance against BRC, retailer and legal requirements at our snacking and chocolate factory.

In this role, you'll help drive internal audits, investigations, corrective actions and site compliance projects while working closely with production, engineering, QA and technical teams. Your work will directly contribute to food safety, quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Position type: Full time, permanent

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:30

Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal audit schedules and complete compliance audits across site.
  • Support compliance against BRC standards, retailer codes of practice and customer requirements.
  • Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage iAuditor compliance activities, reporting and trend analysis.
  • Support complaint investigations and site improvement initiatives.
  • Produce KPI reporting and present compliance performance data.
  • Support validation projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external auditors and laboratory partners.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience within food/ beverage manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
  • Internal auditing experience within food/ beverage manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
  • Working knowledge of BRC standards and retailer (supermarket) codes of practice.
  • Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working with compliance systems and reporting tools.
  • HACCP Level 3.

Desirable:

  • Internal auditing certification/ qualification.
