Humboldt Seafoods is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in Lymington, Hampshire.
You will be fluent in German and/or French, both spoken and written, and help support our sales activities, maintain strong customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
This is a full-time, on-site position.
Key responsibilities
- Handle customer product enquiries in German and/or French.
- Support the sales team in managing customer accounts and orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Process orders, quotations and invoices accurately.
- Follow up on leads and sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including logistics and finance.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team.
Skills and requirements
- Fluency in German and/or French, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- A positive, proactive and results-driven attitude.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Experience in the food industry.
- Knowledge of export or international trade.
