Humberston Academy is an oversubscribed "outstanding" academy located in an affluent area of North East Lincolnshire. With Ofsted recognising the outstanding practice in place for Behaviour and Attitudes, Safeguarding and Personal Development, our students are in safe hands with regards to expert support. Humberston Academy achieved "World Class Schools" status in December 2019 and re‑accredited in 2022. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of tutors
- Coordinating Year group Parents Evening
- Monitoring behaviour, engagement and attainment
- Co‑coordinate reward events
- Co‑coordinate students on report
- Liaison with parents and carers of Year group students
- Delivery of Year group assemblies and line‑ups
- Support the analysis of Year group attainment/progress/attendance data in order to identify key under‑performance and work effectively to rectify
- Report within SLT where required on impact and strategies within your remit
- Pro‑actively support and lead Year group Theme Days
- Liaise with staff/organisations/agencies responsible for CEIAG to offer the right career pathways
- Liaise effectively with Student Guidance Managers responsible for Year group
- Pro‑actively support duty with Year group
- Support any residential and day trips for Year group students
- Be part of upholding standards and expectations around the academy – part of a SLT rota for supporting challenging behaviour and supporting colleagues
