Goodheart surgery is a training practice with approximately 6350 patients based at one site within a purpose built health centre. Our team includes 2 GPs, 1 GP registrar, 2 practice nurses, 1 GP assistant, 1 health care assistant, and a full administration team. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and satisfaction; our recent CQC assessment rating was overall good with outstanding in caring.
We are seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated, and forward-thinking part-time (24 – 27 hrs per week) Practice Manager to lead our dedicated team at Goodheart Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity for a proven leader with at least three years experience in practice management or a senior leadership role, ideally within a healthcare setting. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, delegation, and management skills, together with the ability to implement and embed effective, efficient working processes. You will be confident working under pressure, adaptable to change, and committed to delivering high standards across the practice.
Main duties of the job include:
- Overall management of the business
- Managing staff
- Recruitment
- Health and safety
- Managing complaints
- Practice finances
- Ensuring the practice is CQC compliant
At least 3 years previous management experience and proven senior leadership experience are required. This vacancy has arisen due to the forthcoming retirement of our current Practice Manager.
