Humberside Fire & Rescue Service is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Control team as a Crew Manager. This is a key supervisory role within our Fire Control function, where you will lead a team of Control Operators to ensure the effective coordination of emergency and non-emergency responses. As a Crew Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational readiness, managing resources, and supporting the Watch Manager. You will also ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures while delivering a high standard of service to our communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Fire Control Operators in operational and routine duties.
- Monitor and maintain mobilisation and communication systems.
- Ensure resource availability and accurate information distribution.
- Liaise with internal and external agencies regarding equipment and systems.
- Identify and report faults, carrying out first-line maintenance where required.
- Support and deputise for the Watch Manager when necessary.
