Position: Catering Officer – 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the provision of nutritious, well‑balanced meals for service users.
  • Plan menus, order food supplies, and oversee meal preparation and service.
  • Coordinate the delivery of meals three times per day.
  • Deliver cooking classes that promote independent living skills and budget‑friendly meal planning.
  • Ensure kitchen facilities, food storage, and stock management comply with Food Hygiene, Fire Safety, and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work towards a Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification.
  • Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and service delivery.
