Our service users are amazing to work with, the environment in which you will work will be fun and super rewarding, being able to make a difference to those most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community. Leading on some cooking classes, teaching essential independent living skills and cooking on a budget, a varied role with great levels of job satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of a well-balanced meal provision to our service users involving menu planning, food ordering, meal preparation and food delivery three times daily.
- Ensure that kitchen areas, food stock and storage meet the requirements of Food Hygiene, Fire and Health and Safety Standards.
Qualifications:
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is essential with the willingness to work towards a Level 3.
- Experience of working in a busy kitchen.
