The Supported Housing Volunteer role is designed to assist individuals in securing and maintaining stable housing. By providing practical support, guidance, and encouragement, the volunteer helps service users develop independent living skills, navigate housing-related challenges, and improve their overall well-being.
The Mentor/Befriender Volunteer role is designed to provide companionship and support to individuals who may be isolated or lonely. By forming a supportive relationship, the volunteer helps improve the emotional well-being and quality of life of the befriendee.
We are looking for Community Support Volunteers to join our team and make a real difference in people’s lives. This role is all about providing person-centred support to individuals in the community, helping them to live independently in their own homes and build confidence in their daily lives.
Our service supports adults with physical disabilities and learning disabilities, offering housing-related support to help them manage their homes, connect with essential services, and develop important life skills. While part of the service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for personal care, volunteers will not be involved in personal care or medication handling.
Time Commitment:
- A minimum commitment of 4 hours per week for 6 months is required.
