Night Support Practitioner – Mental Health Crisis Intervention Service (MHCIS) – 24 hours
Salary of £16,224.00 plus 10% for completed night shifts = £17,846.40 per annum – 24 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support alongside Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Approved Mental Health Practitioners for people either presenting in a Mental Health Crisis or brought to Miranda House either formally under the Mental Health Act or informally.
- Provision of support for people brought to Miranda House, beyond place of safety and place of safety environments.
- Ensure patients receive the appropriate level of care and improved experience during their period of mental health crisis.
- Provision of support to the wider Humber Teaching Foundation Trust Crisis and Intervention team throughout triage, liaison and customer assessment processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educated to Level 2 Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience of working in a social care or similar environment.
- Knowledge of local statutory and voluntary support agencies.
- Working knowledge of person‑centred, strengths‑based approaches to support and care planning.
- Experience of dealing with complex service users/customers/public.
- Experience of working with others to achieve successful outcomes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
- Team working experience, working cooperatively with colleagues in complex, pressurised situations.
- Willing to work towards a recognised care/support qualification.
