Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a programme of intensive housing management to service users referred into the HRS, adhering to housing benefit support exemption requirements.
  • Deliver housing management to support women with complex needs, preventing or resolving homelessness, and enabling independent living skills.
  • Engage with service users weekly to support independent living in the community.
  • Deliver a high‑quality service, ensuring outstanding customer service, acting as an ambassador for Humbercare and a point of contact for customers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Educated to Level 2 Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a social care or similar environment, preferably with women.
  • Knowledge of Psychologically Informed Environments and Trauma Informed Care Principles and Practice.
  • Knowledge of statutory and voluntary support agencies that specialise in supporting women.
  • Working knowledge of person‑centred, strengths‑based approaches to support and care planning.
  • Experience working with others to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
  • Team working experience; able to cooperate with colleagues in complex, pressurised situations.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills and ability to manage a caseload effectively.
  • Willing to work towards a recognised housing/care/support qualification.
