We are currently advertising for a full-time Housing Officer on our Chrysalis service.Please note this role occasionally includes on-call duties in addition to the core hours. Humbercares Chrysalis Housing provides accommodation and a low level of support. The main responsibilities include: To provide advice and support to all customers house within Chrysaliss Housing Property Portfolio To engage with customers on a weekly basis to support individuals to secure, maintain and achieve independent living, and to design services that work for them and utilising resources within the local area to make a real, quality difference to peoples\’ lives To ensure Chrysalis Housing properties are well presented and maintained by both our customers and Humbercare (in conjunction with the maintenance department) Requirements: A sound understanding of the social housing environment including emerging government policy, welfare benefits and housing entitlements Experience of working in a social housing or similar environment along with knowledge of local statutory and voluntary agencies.
