Overview

The Mental Health Liaison Service is a CORE 24 team working within Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill hospitals, specialising in providing mental health care within the acute hospitals. You will be joining an already well‑established team that will be ready to support you.

Responsibilities

The appointed person must be competent and highly skilled in offering a comprehensive and holistic assessment of a person\’s biopsychosocial needs, confident in autonomous decision‑making and able to provide strong clinical leadership within the team in order to support other clinicians with complex clinical decision‑making. The post holder will act as a source of expertise and point of contact within the team for our colleagues from the acute hospital trust and work in partnership with senior clinicians and colleagues, supporting and maintaining service provision to ensure effective communication between services to resolve any potential clinical issues.

Qualifications

We are welcoming interest from Registered Mental Health Nurses, Registered Social Workers or Registered Learning Disability Nurses working either at or towards a Band 7 level, who have experience of working in liaison/front line and crisis services or who have worked with patients with complex mental health difficulties.
