The predicted salary is between 19600 - 26400 Β£ per year.

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Band 2 Administration Assistant to work within our Mental Health Crisis Team based at Miranda House in Hull. You will be expected to be flexible and work in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment within the main office as well as providing cover to a busy reception area. The administration team provides 24-hour, 7-day a week cover, which is worked on a rota basis incorporating enhanced pay for unsocial hours. This provides a refreshing work-life balance.

Main duties of the job:

  • Liaising with health care professionals from the Trust and outside agencies.
  • Dealing with queries from patients requiring a service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and being able to work on your own initiative are both essential.
  • Good keyboard skills enabling assistance in creating, developing, and maintaining new processes and procedures.
  • Regular data inputting using patient systems (Lorenzo) in accordance with the Trust standards, along with all other Microsoft packages.

Minimum Requirements:

  • RSA III and OCR III/ECDL or equivalent NVQ Qualification.
  • A good standard of Maths and English.
  • Previous experience of carrying out general administrative procedures in an office environment.
  • Experience of using software packages including Microsoft Word/Outlook and Excel are beneficial.
  • Experience with the Trust Patient Information Systems (Lorenzo) would be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Knowledge of IT systems.
  • Knowledge of Trust IT systems e.g. Lorenzo as appropriate to work area.

Qualifications:

  • 2 GCSEs/O levels in English and Maths.
  • Standard keyboard skills e.g. RSA2, ECDL or demonstrable experience within A&C field at standard level NVQ2 or equivalent experiential learning.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
