The Maritime Recruiter plays an integral role in supporting the Crewing Manager to ensure that the company’s vessels are adequately manned. They will also bear the responsibility of managing the entire recruitment lifecycle associated with recruiting seafarers for the Company’s vessels and providing support to ensure candidates and seafarers hold the required qualifications and certifications.
Responsibilities
- Actively identifies and recruits qualified candidates to fill current vacancies and support future workforce planning.
- Explores, develops, and maintains multiple recruitment channels and talent pathways to attract high-quality candidates.
- Receives, files, and processes CVs and crewing leads, including management of the recruitment inbox in a timely and organized manner.
- Reviews and verifies CVs, certificates, and credentials to confirm suitability for the required job roles and compliance with standards.
- Conducts interviews, gathering detailed information regarding candidates’ experience, qualifications, and technical ability to assess overall suitability.
The job offers a hybrid option although candidates must be able to work from the Scarborough based office when required.
