Responsibilities:

  • Participate in resident consultant on-call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Women and Children’s Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary.
  • Work in a hybrid rota that includes resident on call for obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Support specialist services such as Early Pregnancy Unit, Emergency Gynaecology, and Ambulatory Gynaecology.
  • Contribute to governance and quality improvement within the department.
  • Provide Termination of Pregnancy service if no conscientious objection is present.

Qualifications:

  • Consultant level in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • Experience with resident on-call rota in obstetrics and gynaecology.
  • Additional qualification in Ultrasound is most welcome and will be supported for inclusion in departmental education for juniors & midwives & appropriate SITM provision.
