The predicted salary is between 46300 - 52800 £ per year.
A total of 80 Consultants including 4 Locum Consultants currently work in Theatres, Anaesthesia and Critical Care. The department also currently employs 1 Associate Specialist, 3 Specialist Grade Anaesthetists, and about 40 trainees based in Anaesthesia ranging from CT1–ST7. 9 Senior Clinical Fellows are employed in the anaesthetic department. There are also trainees from acute medicine, respiratory medicine and emergency medicine who rotate through training in Intensive care and we train both FY1 and FY2 Doctors from our Local Foundation School.
Main duties of the job include:
- Providing Anaesthetic services at both Trust sites, Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.
- Providing on-call cover for CEPOD Theatres in Hull Royal Infirmary at 1 in 24 with prospective cover.
- Providing theatre cover as per the agreed timetable and subsequent job plan.
- Supervising trainee Anaesthetic staff within the Trust.
