As the Demand Planning Manager, you will own Humantra’s demand forecasting and planning across DTC and retail channels, ensuring the business has a clear and accurate view of product demand across markets, channels and SKUs. You will be responsible for building and maintaining demand forecasts that support procurement decisions and inventory availability across Humantra’s international warehouses. Working closely with the Procurement Manager, Growth, Sales, Marketing and Finance, you will ensure demand plans are aligned across all functions and are translatable into robust supply plans. This role is critical in building a world class, scalable demand planning function to support Humantra’s growth and will report into the Operations Manager.

Job Description

  • Demand Forecasting & Planning
  • Build and maintain demand forecasts across DTC and retail channels
  • Analyse historical sales trends and demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy
  • Incorporate subscription demand, growth plans, promotions, product launches, and seasonality into a robust forecasting model
  • Review demand inputs from commercial teams and challenge where needed to ensure forecasts reflect realistic assumptions
  • Maintain SKU-level forecasts across markets and warehouses
  • Continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and responsiveness
  • Ensure strong decision making by creating scenario models
  • S&OP
    • Work with the Operations Manager to input into and evolve the S&OP process
    • Align demand forecasts with Procurement, Logistics, Growth, and Finance teams
    • Support planning for new product launches, retail expansion, and major campaigns
  • Data & Reporting
    • Track and report on demand planning KPIs including forecast accuracy and bias
    • Analyse forecast versus actual demand to identify improvement opportunities
    • Maintain clear reporting and planning visibility for leadership
    • Support implementation of new planning systems e.g. Anaplan

    Requirements

    • Minimum 2–3+ years’ experience in demand planning or forecasting
    • Must have: Experience in consumer goods and high growth / fast paced environments
    • Ideal but not essential: wellness/supplements experience
    • Experience forecasting for an omnichannel business (DTC and retail)
    • Comfortable working with data across multiple international warehouses
    • Strong Excel / Google Sheets capability
    • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
    • Ownership mindset and comfortable being the first demand planning hire
    • Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment
