News Analyst to the CEO / Newsletter Writer

Job Description

We are building a private daily news briefing for the Chief Executive Officer, covering key developments in Artificial Intelligence, Technology, Business, Politics, and Economics. The content is sourced from 40+ trusted Russian and English-language media outlets.

We’re looking for a News Analyst who will:

  • Select the most relevant news daily and compile a structured news briefing based on pre-defined criteria (via Google Sheets with categories, tags, and sources). Categories: AI/Tech, Billionaires, Crypto, Business, Politics, Robotics, Finance, Economics, Meditation, Mining, Jewelry, Network, AI Tools. ChatGPT may be used to summarize the articles.
  • Prepare short analytical briefs (1–2 pages) on companies or events mentioned in the news upon CEO’s request. It’s great if you use AI tools to prepare such briefs — they help speed up data collection, structure information, and identify key insights.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of summaries in both Russian and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring top-tier news platforms and aggregators (Bloomberg, BBC, Forbes, TechCrunch, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Writing structured, analytically sound daily briefings (delivered in the morning)
  • Preparing ad-hoc analytical briefs on demand from the CEO
  • Collaborating with the analytics team to improve the news briefing process

What we offer:

  • Remote work, flexible schedule — 3–4 hours per day (morning)
  • Potential growth into a Strategic Analyst

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Russian and English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent analytical and summarization skills
  • Experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.)
  • Education or strong interest in political science, economics, international relations, or journalism
  • Senior students and graduates of top universities are encouraged to apply

This is an ideal role for someone analytical, politically aware, tech-savvy, and looking to grow into a strategic position with direct exposure to the CEO.
