Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

Who Are We? Humanoid exists to build a future where robots work alongside people, not instead of them. We are Europe's fastest-growing humanoid robotics company, and now Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn, having recently raised $152M in Series A funding at a $1.35B valuation, backed by Prime Movers Lab, Bosch, Schaeffler, and Aglaé Ventures. In just over two years we've gone from an idea to a robot in industrial use, HMND 01, with partnerships to manufacture at serious scale. We move fast because the problem is hard and the window is short.

About the Team We're a small, sharp in-house creative team based at our London HQ (1 Triton Square). Our job is to give Humanoid a visual language that feels as considered and confident as the hardware itself, across every touchpoint: decks, product launches, social, merch, and the office walls around us. Every designer here works closely with the Creative Director, with a direct line into how the brand shows up across the business, and works alongside the hardware design department and other product teams to make sure the way Humanoid looks on a screen matches the way it looks on a factory floor. Right now we're solving a hard problem: building a design system with enough range to cover robotics, industrial partners, and consumer-facing launches, without diluting what makes Humanoid look like Humanoid, all while the company grows faster than most creative teams are built to handle. If you want to design for a brand that's building something genuinely new rather than skinning an existing category, this is the place.

What You'll Do:

  • Take ownership of projects end to end, from concept through final delivery, art directing and managing your own process with minimal oversight.
  • Bring the Humanoid brand to life through bold, precise, considered visual design across every channel.
  • Support the development and upkeep of our brand guidelines and design systems, so our voice stays consistent as we scale into new markets and launch new products.
  • Translate complex technical and product work into visuals that are sharp, confident, and easy to understand.
  • Design across the full range: brand identity, presentations, merch, packaging, web, social, and environmental graphics.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and wider team to keep every execution unified and on-brand.
  • Partner with hardware design and product teams to make sure our visual language stays true to the robot itself, not just how we talk about it.
  • Work with motion talent (internal or freelance) to develop storyboards and assets for animated content.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years in a design role, ideally with exposure to tech, product, or a top-tier creative agency.
  • A portfolio that shows systems thinking, strong layout, and real range: brand, digital, print, and ideally some motion or animation work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; experience with After Effects or similar motion tools is a strong plus.
  • You're a self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects forward without needing to be chased.
  • A pragmatic approach: you can hold an ambitious creative vision while still hitting fast-moving deadlines.
  • A sharp eye for detail and no tolerance for shipping 'fine' when it could be 'right'.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with hardware and product teams, translating technical constraints into strong creative.
  • Confidence to present and defend your work to senior stakeholders, including the CEO and exec team.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
  • 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas-New Year shutdown).
  • Private healthcare, including virtual and in-person care.
  • Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
  • Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in-office.
  • Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world-class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
  • Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.
