Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
About The Role
We're hiring a Treasurer to join our Finance team, based in London. In this role, you'll own Humanoid's global treasury, capital-markets, and investor-relations activities — reporting to the CFO, designing and running the systems that keep the business well-funded, protecting it from financial risk across multiple currencies and entities, and directly supporting our fundraising efforts. This is a high-impact, standalone role for a builder: you'll operate as both strategist and operator, setting policy one day and executing an FX hedge, opening a bank account, or assembling a data room the next.
What You’ll Do
- Treasury & Cash Management
- Own bank account management across multiple entities and jurisdictions, including account opening, rationalisation, mandates, signatories, and banking-platform administration.
- Forecast group and entity-level cash positions, borrowing needs, and funds available for investment; ensure the business is always adequately funded for operations and capital expenditure.
- Manage day-to-day liquidity, cash pooling, and intercompany funding flows to optimise the use of cash across the group.
- Foreign Exchange & Financial Risk
- Design and execute the group's FX strategy — identifying, quantifying, and hedging currency exposures arising from a multi-entity, multi-currency operating model.
- Manage interest-rate and counterparty risk, selecting appropriate instruments and monitoring exposures against policy limits.
- Maintain robust controls and reporting around all treasury and risk activity.
- Financing, Debt & Strategic Partnerships
- Source and structure financing through debt instruments (venture debt, working-capital facilities, asset and equipment financing, credit lines) to extend runway and fund growth on efficient terms.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships as a source of financing, negotiating terms alongside the CFO and commercial teams.
- Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and credit providers, and lead financing negotiations, documentation, and covenant compliance.
- Equity Fundraising Support
- Support equity funding rounds end-to-end, partnering with the CFO and founders through preparation, diligence, and close.
- Lead pitch-deck creation, investment memos, and financial narratives that clearly articulate the investment case.
- Build and manage the data room — owning structure, content, version control, and access — to run efficient, well-controlled diligence processes.
- Investor Relations
- Own day-to-day investor relations, serving as a key point of contact for existing and prospective investors and managing the cadence of updates, reporting, and communications.
- Prepare investor updates, board materials, and capitalisation reporting in partnership with finance and legal.
- Help maintain and manage the capitalisation table and equity-related processes.
- Policy & Governance
- Create and maintain the group's investment policy, treasury policy, and related controls, ensuring capital is deployed safely and in line with the Board's risk appetite.
- Establish scalable treasury processes, controls, and systems appropriate to a fast-growing, international business.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, tax, and reporting requirements across the entities you support.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in treasury, corporate finance, capital markets, or a closely related field, ideally spanning both operational treasury and fundraising.
- Demonstrated ability to manage FX and financial risk across a multi-entity, multi-currency group.
- Hands‑on experience with bank account management, banking platforms, and cash‑flow forecasting.
- A track record of sourcing and executing financing — debt instruments, facilities, and/or strategic partnerships.
- Direct involvement in equity fundraising: pitch decks, investment memos, data‑room management, and investor diligence.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with excellent written communication for investor‑facing materials.
- A builder's mindset — comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast‑paced, ambiguous, high‑growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline; a professional qualification (e.g. ACT/AMCT, CFA, ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or CTP) is a strong plus.
- Experience in a venture‑backed, high‑growth startup or scale‑up, ideally in hardware, robotics, deep tech, or manufacturing, or banking experience.
- Familiarity with cap‑table management and investor‑relations tooling.
- Exposure to international expansion and entity setup across multiple jurisdictions.
What We Offer
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in‑person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in‑office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world‑class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.
- Travel opportunities to our international offices.
