We're bringing that mission to life with HMND‐01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we're growing the team to take it even further.
About The Role
We're hiring a Head of Investor Relations to join our Finance team, based in London, reporting to the CFO.
In this role, you'll own Humanoid's investor relationships and communications end to end — building the cadence, materials, and infrastructure that keep existing and prospective investors informed and engaged as we scale from fast-growing startup to IPO-ready public company.
What You'll Do
- Investor Relations & Communications
- Own investor relations: Own day-to-day investor relations, serving as the key point of contact for existing and prospective investors and managing the cadence of updates, reporting, and communications.
- Build investor relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, understanding their priorities and proactively addressing their needs.
- Prepare investor updates: Prepare regular investor updates and communications that clearly and consistently represent Humanoid's performance and strategy.
- Board & Capitalisation Reporting
- Prepare board materials: Prepare board materials and capitalisation reporting in partnership with finance and legal, ensuring accuracy and a consistent narrative.
- Manage the cap table: Own management of the capitalisation table and equity-related processes, working closely with Legal, Finance, and People teams on option grants, RSUs, and related administration.
- Maintain governance records: Maintain investor‐facing governance records and disclosures in line with Board and regulatory expectations.
- Fundraising & Investment Narrative Support
- Support fundraising rounds: Partner with the CFO, Treasurer, and founders on equity fundraising rounds — contributing to pitch decks, investment memos, and financial narratives.
- Support diligence: Support data-room management and investor diligence processes during fundraising, ensuring investors get clear, timely, well‐organised information.
- Track market context: Track investor sentiment, comparable company performance, and market conditions relevant to fundraising and positioning strategy.
- Process & Systems
- Build IR infrastructure: Establish scalable investor‐relations processes, tools, and reporting cadences appropriate to a fast-growing, international business.
- Own IR tooling: Build and manage IR/cap-table tooling to track investor engagement and manage relationships as the group scales.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure investor communications and disclosures comply with relevant regulatory and reporting requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or a closely related field, ideally within a high‐growth or newly public company.
- Direct experience managing investor relationships and a regular communications cadence.
- Experience preparing board materials, investor updates, and capitalisation reporting.
- Familiarity with cap‐table management and investor‐relations tooling.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with excellent written communication for investor‐facing materials.
- Experience supporting equity fundraising rounds — pitch decks, investment memos, and diligence processes.
- A builder's mindset — comfortable establishing IR infrastructure and process in an ambiguous, fast‐paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline; a professional qualification (e. g. CFA or IR Society accreditation) is a plus.
- Experience in a venture‐backed, high‐growth startup or scale‐up, ideally in hardware, robotics, deep tech, or manufacturing.
- Exposure to IPO readiness or public‐company investor relations is a strong plus.
What We Offer
- Competitive equity: stock options with meaningful upside as we scale.
- 30+ paid days off, including 23 days of annual leave, all UK bank holidays, and additional company closure days (including Christmas–New Year shutdown).
- Private healthcare, including virtual and in‐person care.
- Pension scheme with 8% total contribution (5% employee, 3% employer) on full earnings.
- Free daily breakfast, catered lunch, and snacks in‐office.
- Work at the frontier - collaborate daily with world‐class engineers, researchers, and product experts building the next generation of AI and humanoid robotics.
- Real ownership - direct access to founding leadership, meaningful input on product direction, and the ability to drive key initiatives from day one.
- Travel opportunities to our international offices and to meet investors.
