Global Human Resources Director

Key duties include talent acquisition and retention in a specialized field, developing workforce and succession plans for technical and soft skills, ensuring compliance with labor laws on the global level (the UK, the US, Canada), and managing performance and compensation systems. This role requires a blend of traditional HR leadership with a deep understanding of the unique needs of a technology‑driven organization, including building a strong company culture, managing employee relations in a fast‑paced environment, and leveraging HR data analytics and technology to support strategic business decisions.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic planning: Develop and implement HR policies and programs to align with the organization\’s business objectives. Align HR strategy with the company\’s mission, vision, and growth objectives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on workforce trends and organizational health.
- Talent management: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of employees across the company on the global level.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire specialized engineers and other technical talent.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, and career development.
- Oversee succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
- Compensation and benefits: Manage competitive salary structures and employee benefits packages on the global level for different jurisdictions (the UK, the US, Canada).
- Performance and engagement: Helps drive employee performance and engagement through targeted learning and development efforts.
- Employee relations: Handle employee issues, disputes, and disciplinary actions to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Legal compliance: Ensure all HR practices and procedures comply with local laws in several jurisdictions.
- Leadership: Manage the HR department staff, delegate tasks, and work directly with the executive leadership team.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor\’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.
- Experience: + 7 years of hands‑on experience in leadership HR roles within Tech multinationals (Robotics, Automotive, Digital/AI, Aerospace, Hardware/Electronics Manufacturing, or similar), significant experience in HR management, including senior‑level roles; successful experience building HR functions from scratch on a global level in a rapid start‑up environment will be an advantage.
- Skills: Proficiency in strategic thinking, leadership, and the use of HR analytics to make data‑driven decisions.
- Ethics: Strong ethical judgment and trustworthiness are critical for maintaining employee trust and a positive company culture.
- Russian language command: Must.
