Responsibilities:

  • Write test scripts and UI software to support test jigs for robotic subsystem testing.
  • Collaborate with robot software engineers to develop and integrate APIs for testing and validation purposes.
  • Maintain and update test software configurations to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of testing procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain software systems for robotic subsystems, ensuring that issues are quickly identified and resolved.
  • Develop and execute test plans for verifying software functionality, integration, and system-level performance.
  • Work closely with hardware and mechanical engineers to ensure that testing reflects real-world robotic functionality.
  • Document test procedures, configurations, and results to ensure reproducibility and improve testing efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Strong experience with software development for robotic systems, including writing test scripts and maintaining test software.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, as well as experience with test automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with software integration, APIs, and working with hardware interfaces in robotic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in software and system integration issues.
