Opioid Medication Recovery Coordinator
Working hours: Monday-Friday with one late night shift until 7pm (you will be given an early finish or late start following an evening shift).

About the role…
An exciting opportunity to join our newly funded OHID OTC/POM team, based at the Irford Hub!
Key duties will include:
The successful candidate will hold a small service user caseload, supporting them to make positive changes to their opioid/opiate based OTC/POM use.
Successful candidates will build a network with local GPs, pharmacies, and healthcare services with the aim of increasing numbers into treatment and successful treatment completions.
Successful candidates will be an integral member of the dynamic multi-agency team developing comprehensive and tailored individual interventions.
The successful candidate will adopt a trauma informed approach to improve individual health outcomes while working alongside motivated multi-disciplinary teams to support tailored individual interventions.
About you…
The successful candidate will have knowledge of opioid/opiates medications and addiction.
You will have experience in assessment, PSI, knowledge of the clinical interventions required to support, risk management, recovery planning, therapeutic interventions and be able to support clients to address their substance use.
You will have excellent record keeping and communication skills and have confidence in their abilities to support other staff members where needed.
Assertive, community outreach and home visits are part of this role, therefore having a driving licence and car access is desirable.
