As a Senior Quantitative Modeller, you'll be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced mathematical and statistical models that solve complex business challenges and support innovative product development. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you'll own the full lifecycle of quantitative modelling projects—from initial concept through to production deployment—while working closely with engineering, data science, and business teams. You'll also provide technical guidance to junior colleagues and help shape best practices across the modelling function. Based in our London office, you'll join a highly skilled Business Intelligence team focused on delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that create real commercial value.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, developing and implementing advanced mathematical and statistical models
  • Deriving new quantitative models and enhancing existing solutions to improve business performance
  • Applying complex statistical distributions and Monte Carlo simulation techniques to solve challenging modelling problems
  • Leading quantitative modelling initiatives from concept through to production deployment
  • Backtesting, validating and refining models to ensure accuracy, robustness and real-world performance
  • Taking ownership of projects, managing priorities, milestones and delivery with minimal supervision
  • Collaborating with Data Science, Engineering and Product teams to ensure seamless implementation and alignment with technical best practices
  • Identifying opportunities to apply advanced quantitative modelling techniques to solve business challenges and drive innovation
  • Presenting complex quantitative findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Producing reports and visualisations using Python libraries and Tableau to communicate model performance and insights
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members on modelling techniques and best practice

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Quantitative Analyst or Quantitative Modeller with a strong track record of delivering high-impact quantitative models
  • Deep expertise in mathematical and statistical modelling techniques
  • Strong understanding of probability, complex statistical distributions and Monte Carlo simulations
  • Advanced Python skills for modelling, analysis and data manipulation
  • Experience with model validation, backtesting and performance evaluation
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end model development and deployment lifecycle
  • Experience working autonomously and successfully leading complex modelling projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Experience using Python visualisation libraries (such as Matplotlib, Plotly or Seaborn) together with reporting tools such as Tableau

Desirable Experience

  • Machine Learning and predictive modelling experience
  • Experience working with large datasets and technologies such as PySpark or Hive
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Understanding of MLOps principles and production deployment practices
  • Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker
  • Experience with Kubernetes or workflow orchestration tools
