We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Swedish Responsible Gaming (RG) Specialist to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the i Gaming industry.
In this role, you will safeguard player well-being by monitoring players’ gambling behaviour, ensuring adherence to duty of care, managing escalated cases, and directly engaging with at‑risk players.
Your work will ensure compliance with Swedish gambling regulations while driving continuous improvement in responsible gaming practices.
As a key member of the Responsible Gaming team, you’ll collaborate with Operational and Compliance teams to advance the company’s Social Responsibility policies and assist customer‑facing departments with RG‑related queries.
By proactively engaging with players and upholding Duty of Care procedures, you’ll help ensure a safe, responsible, and sustainable gaming experience.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the duty of care plan, and relevant policies and procedures.
- Regularly monitor the players’ gambling behaviour, make individual risk assessments, implement the required responsible gambling measures and follow up on the effectiveness of the implemented measures.
- Engage with at‑risk players, providing guidance on responsible gaming tools and resources.
- Offer empathetic support while addressing RG concerns effectively.
- Accurately document all actions for future reporting and audits.
- Coach CS and other teams to make informed decisions to safeguard customers and fulfil their duty of care.
- Develop and deliver RG training.
- Plan and perform regular website testing to RG and duty of care information and functionalities.
- Interpret and analyse data sets from customer accounts, following key patterns and trends that may indicate problem gambling.
- Leverage behavioural tracking tools and solutions to enhance both personal and team performance in RG case management.
- Drive the development and refinement of RG processes and policies.
- Deliver detailed RG reports to meet regulatory requirements.
- Take a lead role in RG‑related projects aimed at improving tools, processes, and overall player protection strategies.
- Keep up to date with regulatory requirements and process changes that may impact duty of care.
Skills / Experience
- Proficiency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
- Problem‑solving skills.
- Proactive and flexible thinking.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- At least 2 years of previous experience as Swedish RG Specialist.
- Experience in effectively analysing player data and making inferences regarding RG risk.
- Have a deep understanding and keeping updated with the SGA regulatory framework, other jurisdictions is a plus.
- Interested in the psychology behind gambling and specifically problem gambling.
