If you're a B2B Marketing Manager who wants a fresh challenge to deliver campaigns across a range of online and offline channels to support sales growth, this could be a great role for you.

You will be responsible for leading and executing the marketing strategy and annual plan of online and offline marketing activity. You will focus on targeted marketing campaigns and effective communications designed to drive market awareness, support customer acquisition, and grow revenues from existing customers.

This is a full-time role, 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday. You will be based in the modern office, 5 days a week, at their site in Stoke-on-Trent, which has free on-site parking.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Senior Management Team, agreeing the marketing strategy for the business and developing the annual marketing plans with KPIs/targets and budgets.
  • Overseeing the creation of marketing collateral including literature, case studies, customer communications and sales materials, that supports the company's commercial and business objectives.
  • Managing social media platforms to boost engagement, grow target audiences, and enhance their profile.
  • Ensuring the company's WordPress website is up-to-date, with regular new content/blogs added, and is in-line with brand guidelines.
  • Overseeing website performance in partnership with their external agency partner.
  • Planning, creating and managing email marketing campaigns to support customer retention and new customer acquisition, providing clear performance reports.
  • Managing and optimising the use of their CRM platform to support new business development and communication campaigns.
  • Managing the relationship with their external agency/suppliers, from activity planning and briefing, to performance evaluation.
  • Working with HR to support effective internal team communications and external marketing activity to enhance their employer brand.
  • Raising their visibility and profile by identifying and participating in relevant industry and business awards.
  • Producing monthly reports on marketing performance, tracking ROI and delivery against targets.

As the Marketing Manager, you will be helping the business deliver on their exciting growth plans through effective and creative marketing and communications. You will be reporting to the Co-Managing Director, and working closely with their sales team, customer support team, wider senior management team and external agencies/suppliers. You will also be managing a talented Marketing Assistant day-to-day.

Here are some of the key experience you will need to demonstrate:

  • At least 4 years B2B experience working with all marketing channels with a focus on sales/new business development support, content marketing, social media, and CRM management/ownership.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions is essential.
  • Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills; strong attention to detail and high accuracy of work are essential.
  • Experience of working with CRM/marketing systems.
  • Experience of WordPress website administration, including uploading new content and analysing performance.
  • Team leadership and external supplier management experience.
  • Knowledge of GDPR regulations and how they apply across marketing and the wider business.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
