Hybrid (1 day per week in Greater Manchester office). We’re partnered with an award-winning Digital Agency who is hiring an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex eCommerce projects across enterprise-level digital platforms. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing digital delivery team working on full-scale platform implementations, multi-phase roadmaps, and continuous improvement programmes for ambitious retail and B2C brands.
The Role
- You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring successful outcomes across scope, budget, timeline and quality.
- Working closely with technical specialists, UX teams, and commercial stakeholders, you’ll guide projects from discovery through to delivery while building strong client relationships and driving delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of complex eCommerce implementation and optimisation projects.
- Manage project governance including planning, RAID logs, sprint management and stakeholder reporting.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Manage project budgets, forecasting and resourcing.
- Oversee project backlogs, task flow and delivery velocity across Kanban boards.
- Identify and remove delivery blockers and manage risks proactively.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure feasibility, quality and successful releases.
- Manage client communication, steering meetings and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support user story creation, backlog refinement and delivery planning.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and mentor other Project Managers where needed.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement across delivery practices.
About You
- Experience in project management within eCommerce, digital or tech environments.
- Experience delivering projects on Adobe Commerce (Magento) and/or Shopify.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven success working with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget ownership and reporting.
- Experience managing multiple clients and complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Experience supporting estimation, planning and risk management.
- Passion for digital delivery and staying current with eCommerce trends.
