Manchester / Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office

We’re looking for an experienced Paid Media Analyst to join a growing Business Intelligence function, helping turn paid media and digital marketing data into meaningful commercial insight.

This is a hands-on analytics role focused specifically on understanding how paid media campaigns are performing across multiple platforms and channels. You’ll work closely with Paid Media, Marketing and BI teams to understand what’s driving performance, identify opportunities for optimisation and help make smarter, data-led decisions around marketing investment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analyse paid media campaign performance across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Track and report on KPIs including CTR, CPA, ROAS and conversion rates.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to improve campaign performance.
  • Analyse audience behaviour, segmentation and targeting to support better campaign results.
  • Work closely with Paid Media and Marketing teams to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
  • Develop and maintain paid media dashboards and performance reporting using Tableau.
  • Support UTM frameworks, tagging and conversion tracking to ensure accurate and consistent measurement.
  • Help develop attribution models and measurement frameworks across paid channels.
  • Measure the wider impact of cross-channel and 360° media campaigns.
  • Support the setup of tracking parameters, conversion goals and reporting.
  • Translate complex campaign data into clear, commercially focused insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with changes across paid media platforms and understand how these could impact performance and strategy.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll have previous experience within paid media analytics and a strong understanding of how paid campaigns work across areas such as bidding, budgeting, targeting and creative performance. You’ll be confident using SQL and Tableau and comfortable working with campaign tracking, UTMs, pixels and conversion measurement.

You’ll understand the commercial side of paid media too — not just reporting what happened, but being able to explain why it happened and recommend what should happen next.

Experience with Python or R, GA4, Adobe Analytics, A/B testing, attribution modelling or statistical analysis would be beneficial. You’ll also be confident working with marketing stakeholders and translating technical analysis into clear recommendations that can influence campaign strategy.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the analytical side of paid media and wants to have a real influence on how campaigns are measured, optimised and understood across a business.
