End User Support Specialist - £40,000 in Manchester

WE’RE HIRING: End User Support Specialist

Are you a hands‑on IT support professional who loves troubleshooting, solving problems and delivering a great user experience?

We’re looking for a proactive End User Support Specialist to join our Service Experience team, supporting users across a busy, multi-site business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing 2nd-line IT support and owning issues through to resolution.
• Deploying laptops, managing hardware refreshes and supporting new starters.
• Troubleshooting Windows, VPN, connectivity and endpoint issues.
• Keeping meeting rooms, peripherals and workplace technology running smoothly.
• Supporting stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
• Working with wider IT teams to improve service and prevent recurring issues.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in desktop support, 2nd-line IT or end‑user computing.
• Strong Windows troubleshooting and laptop deployment skills.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools, such as Endpoint Central.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as Halo, Jira or ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem‑solving skills.
• A proactive mindset, with the confidence to take ownership and see issues through.

Knowledge of GlobalProtect and experience in a large, multi-site environment would be a bonus.

Please note: This is a fully office-based role in Manchester City Centre, requiring attendance 5 days a week.
