About The Role

We are seeking a volunteer to support the team at Burleigh Court, a drug and alcohol service.

The role provides insight into the running of the service and is suitable for someone with previous experience in a similar role.

The service is open Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm and we are seeking a volunteer up to 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective reception support, including managing and directing incoming calls, taking and directing messages, managing deliveries, greeting visitors, directing people to meetings, ensuring people sign in and out.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post.
  • Replenish displays, leaflets and resources.
  • Assist with the administration and resources for group activities, training, etc.
  • Create resources for people accessing the service.
  • Take referrals into the service.
  • Promote the service.
