Humanist Ceremonies was the first organisation to provide non-religious ceremonies in the UK, and is the longest-standing training provider for celebrants. We are proud to have been pioneers and for our ceremonies to have changed how society thinks about weddings, funerals, and naming ceremonies. We are now seeking a Business Development consultant to provide expert support to grow our ceremonies work.
Key Deliverables for the role include:
- A business development strategy to engage trade and industry, to drive demand for Humanist Ceremonies;
- Stakeholder engagement within relevant industries and networks, and representation of Humanists Ceremonies, and our network of celebrants, at relevant events and meetings;
- Organisationally aligned marketing to increase understanding and awareness of humanist ceremonies and celebrants, and in supporting celebrants to market themselves to sector stakeholders;
- Reports on the impact and return on investment of implemented marketing strategies and business development activities;
- State of the industry reports that share insights, trends and good practice from the ceremonies sector.
We are looking for someone who can step in and deliver impact. You are a great fit if you have:
- A proven track record in B2B sales or building high-value professional partnerships.
- The insight to show industry partners how Humanist Ceremonies and our celebrants deliver the professionalism and standards their clients demand.
- Strong relationship skills, with a knack for building warm, constructive professional networks and working with trade publications.
- Creative flair, capable of launching exciting marketing campaigns and commissioning design work that drives tangible results.
