TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly successful firm of chartered accountants based near Goudhurst in Kent, close to the East Sussex border. Our client is a well established and highly reputable chartered accountancy practice with an outstanding reputation for their corporate tax work across Kent, London and the South East. The firm has a strong team of experienced tax professionals from a range of backgrounds and this role presents an excellent opportunity to join a market leading practice, offering significant exposure to a diverse portfolio of UK and international corporate clients, including owner managed businesses, SMEs, large corporates and corporate groups.
The position will be shaped around the successful candidate’s experience and long term aspirations. As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be allocated a portfolio of corporate clients that reflects your experience. You will act as their primary point of contact, responsible for delivering high quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services, working closely with the Partners. You will take a lead role in managing and reviewing corporation tax returns, group computations and other compliance matters, as well as advising on areas such as restructures, group tax planning, loss utilisation, capital allowances, transaction support and HMRC enquiries.
Requirements- Ideally CTA qualified, or ACA or ACCA qualified with strong corporate tax experience
- Proven experience in a corporate tax role within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong technical knowledge across UK corporation tax compliance and advisory work
- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients
