Personal Tax Senior in Faversham

TPF Recruitment is supporting a fast growing and highly regarded Chartered Accountancy practice in Faversham with the recruitment of a Personal Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team. The Role

As a Personal Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients while supporting the wider team on more complex advisory projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including directors, high net worth individuals and owner managed business clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Advising clients on a range of personal tax matters including Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax planning
• Supporting with tax planning projects and advisory assignments
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as their day-to-day point of contact
• Assisting junior members of the team with technical queries and reviewing work where appropriate
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional services and support to clients

Requirements

• Be ATT and/or CTA qualified, or be studying towards these qualifications
• Have experience working within a personal tax role in an accountancy practice environment
• Have experience managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Possess strong technical knowledge across personal tax compliance matters
• Have excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Be proactive, organised and keen to develop professionally
• Have an interest in developing advisory and tax planning skills
